Doctor Tang gave me time, very patient in listening, explaining my symptoms. Put me at ease.

I have never had such a bad time with a surgery before! I've left it 18mths to put a review up in case it was just a few juggling issues, but they are getting worse not better, and their poor care and archaic processes are now affecting my health, so it's time to share the experience. First, like most places, you cannot get an appointment without going through the clearly harrassed reception team. Unfortunately their frustration with the situation is not well hidden and frequently results in abrupt and snappy comments. Again, you can understand, and it's probably common place in frontline NHS services. In care and treatment, When you have to inform the doctor if the local guidelines yourself, because they don't know them and try to delay your referal as a result is a cause for concern. When the same doctor fails to recognise a very concerning test result, and tells you in a telephone consult that it's nothing to worry about, concern raises to alarm. When you phone up and speak to a second doctor who agrees that further tests needed to have been done in the interim while a referral appointment is awaited- but then 2 working days later has not left the blood forms for the time-specific tests as discussed and agreed would be collected by me in a specific day, you start to lose all trust in this place! And the the icing on the cake is when the reception staff try to make it MY FAULT for turning up before 10 to collect forms they have not got ready!! In this day and age it is simply ridiculous to tell patients to only collect forms after 10- I am not losing my hourly paid work for the sake of collecting paper from a desk. This surgery has real problems. I am lucky that I have work related knowledge of the NHS procedures and pathways. If I didn't, I'd be A lot further behind in getting the treatment I need. It's a concern for those that blindly follow doctors advice. Here, everything must be questioned. It was so much better at our previous surgery in crouch end. I wish we could have stayed with them, but the NHS postcode lottery kicked in and our postcode is very much in the losing end. I would complain direct to the surgery, but they get so defensive, I just don't want to speak to the practice manager. And it's impossible to speak to anyone else there and I don't want to have to book an appointment just to make a complaint to Dr Tang, the main partner.

Lack of time management drs. Resulting in long waiting time for patients. Usually waiting time is 40 mins to 1 hour!

Everyone is very caring, Drs and front desk. In the morning when you call most appointments are gone because walk in people get seen first. I have to be at work by 7.45 so by the time I get through on the phone all have gone - Toilet not very clean at (5.30).
